Mary Bason Broadfoot was born February 17, 1920, in Ithaca, NY, the daughter of the George Bason and Mary Reuther Bason. During World War II, Broadfoot a civilian worker on an Army base in Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1944. In 1945, she married Major William G.
